How To Train Your Dragon fans can finally rejoice! The new promo art for the characters was revealed at the Licensing Expo which happened this week.

The last How To Train your Dragon movie was the sequel which came out 4 years ago in 2014. In the sequel the characters from the first movie were in their early twenties whereas they were just teenagers in the first one. The picture below shows the age difference from the first to the second:

With the upcoming movie set in real time the characters are now in their late twenties. The promo art for all the characters has just been revealed. In the promo art below we see our beloved characters all grown up with their dragons. They have different armor which seems to be resembling the skin of their dragon. For example Hiccup’s armor looks like it has the same scales and pattern that Toothless has. It’s a very clever idea and I can’t wait to see where they are going in terms of story and action.

There are some new pictures which feature the characters and their dragons with an “action pose”.

The stakes are higher than ever as this sequel not only is the last in the series but it’s said to be the darkest entry. There are rumors that this movie could be rated PG-13 which is a first. The official synopsis seems to imply that the movie is going in that direction.

From DreamWorks Animation comes the highly anticipated culmination of one of the most popular animated franchises in film history, HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD. What began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic trilogy spanning their lives. In this next chapter, Hiccup and Toothless will finally discover their true destinies: the village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, and the dragon as leader of his own kind. As both ascend, the darkest threat they’ve yet faced—as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury—will test the bonds of their relationship like never before.

The Hidden World also has it’s own website so you can stay up to date with new information that will come out. I’ll put the link at the end of the article.

It seems that Dreamworks Animation is trying to sabotage it’s own movie as the release dates for this movie are crazy. Massive spoilers will be leaked and it will be ruined for many people, just take a look.

The movie will feature the usual cast featuring Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, T.J. Miller, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Kit Harrington. Talk about an all-star cast!
