DISCLAIMER: This is really late so it’s going to be short since I’d like to focus on the newer trailer but I would still like to post my thoughts on these. I will be uploading a newer Trailer Thoughts with Captain Marvel and all that.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve made another Trailer Thoughts but to be fair this summer was fairly weak when it came to trailers. Most of the trailers I’ll be covering will be for movies but I did decide to also give my thoughts on that new Sabrina show’s trailer.

1. First Man

I love Damien Chazelle’s work and he has proven to me that he is one of the greatest directors of our time so I will undoubtedly be excited for an movie he’s involved in. The same goes for Ryan Gosling, I think he’s really underrated. Just because he isn’t in any big franchise doesn’t mean he’s not worth noticing people. I love that Justin Hurwitz will be teaming up with Chazelle for the score. As for the movie itself, it looks to be an emotional and intense experience and I can’t wait to see it!

2. A Star Is Born

Now this isn’t really a trailer, Warner Brothers just released a bunch of mini-trailers at once but still. I loved them, I am really excited to see it now. The chemistry between Gaga and Cooper is amazing. Cooper also has a surprisingly good singing voice and Gaga obviously does as well so the music isn’t really a problem. I must confess I have never seen any version of A Star Is Born. I am aware that there are a lot of versions but to me this will be my first time experiencing this story.

3. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

I like Sabrina, I vaguely remember watching the animated show back in the day. I never watched the live-action sitcom from the nineties so I only know the basics. There’s Sabrina Spellman who lives with her aunts and has a talking black cat named Salem. That’s all I know so when I saw this trailer you can imagine how confused I was. This trailer screams creepy, edgy teenage drama with a side of cult. It is related to Riverdale which is my guilty pleasure show so I could maybe like this show but until I see a sassy talking black cat I am not on board. He could be the Cheryl Blossom of the show.
